Citizens Advice

The Citizens Advice Bureau Service offers free, confidential, impartial and independent advice.  From its origins in 1939 as an emergency service during World War II, it has evolved into a professional national agency.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is registered charity reliant in volunteers.  Citizens Advice Bureau help solve nearly six million new problems every year which are central to people’s lives, including debt and consumer issues, benefits, housing, legal matters, employment and immigration.  Advisers can help fill out forms, write letters, negotiate with creditors and represent clients at court or tribunal.  Many bureaux provide specialist advice, often in partnership with other agencies such as solicitors and the probation service.

Home Start North West Hants

Home Start logoHome Start North West Hants is a local voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age. Volunteers will offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families experiencing stressful situations in an endeavour to prevent family crisis and breakdown.

Volunteers have a wealth of life skills and most have parenting experience.  Home-Start Clere aims to match a suitable volunteer to each family in need, who will support them through the difficult times. Parenting is a hard task and divorce, separation, bereavement and financial difficulties can put extra strain on families. Sometimes help and support from someone who has already experienced, and survived, those difficult years can be reassuring!

Home-Start North West Hants covers the villages of North Hampshire.  For further information see our website www.homestart-nwhampshire.org.uk

Club Speak
